TEN TIPS FOR DAY- TO- DAY ORGANIZATION
Brought to you by Joan Kosmachuk, Professional Organizer
and Personal Life Coach

“If you want to make an easy job seem hard, just put off doing it”. – Olin Miller

1. If you take it out, put it away. If you dirty it, clean it.

2. Before you buy something new, determine where you will store or display it.

3. Have a basket or shelf to store borrowed items.

4. When you replace an item, toss or donate the item it replaced.

5. Recycle or re-circulate newspapers daily and magazines as soon as you’ve read them.

6. Open and process your mail daily or at least once weekly.

7. Do your dishes daily.

8. Do a load of laundry daily or complete laundry at least once/week.

9. If a task takes less than 2 minutes to do, do it now. If you can’t do it now, set a firm date for when you’ll do it.

10. Delegate or outsource any task you can’t effectively cope with on your own.

“In everything, love simplicity.” Francis de Sales.
